The course layout of RiverRidge Golf Complex was designed by Ric Jeffries.
The design of RiverRidge and The NINES places a premium value on the short game. With the fundamental concept that the drive sets up the next shot, the approach to the greens complex and the subsequent execution of the short game allows for a complete challenge from the tee to the hole. An accomplished player will be rewarded for placing each shot appropriately in the greens complex while the less experienced can always compete with a sound short game.
The courses are built so that all players can have a reasonable expectation of success while choosing the level of challenge they prefer.
Teaching Thoughts:
Ric’s goal for every golfer is for them to understand and enjoy both the process and outcomes of playing the game of golf. Allowing everyone to define the reasons for playing the game and a reasonable expectation of success at their defined level.
